Stone VS. Bread - His Grace is beyond our earthly comprehension

Jesus tells us as believers, we are to pray in His name and our prayers will be answered. If this is true and it always is, then how come we don't always end up with what we wanted? Jesus describes this circumstance below, but it's not always as simple as BLACK & WHITE..

 Mathew 7
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
9 “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

Let's take this circumstance to real life perspective. Sometimes we want something really bad, it may not have been God's will but it sure was ours. We go through a little struggle, but we end up getting it after all. He allows it to look just like the "BREAD" we wanted, everything is going along great, then all of a sudden that bread becomes a "STONE". In fact it seems like a total disaster. Out of divine power he somehow keeps things together, just enough for you to see your mistake and make it right in his eyes. What happens next? Look Up!! Submit to your GOD, and you come to the realization that you have been caught in an incredible cushion of GRACE. After you look back on the situation, you see that if it weren't for that "STONE," you or someone you love could have been seriously hurt. So let us give thanks to God for saving us with his awesome power and sovereignty!!

James 1:2-3
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.

Romans 8:28
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose
